Child and Vulnerable Adult Safeguarding – E-Vetting – Marino & Rosmini 

The Volunteer Vetting programme is a 2 step process. Part 1 is a paper based form and Part 2 is an On-Line form. If you do not have a valid email address please contact the Parish Office as we can assist with this part of the process.

Please note:

  1. Page 1 of the form contains guidelines for completing the form correctly.
  2. Section 1 and Section 2 of form should be completed by the Volunteer.
  3. Section 3 of the form will be completed by the Parish Office in the presence of the Volunteer. The Parish office will verify the identity of the Volunteer presenting the form. The Volunteer is required to provide two original documents to validate their identity as per Proof of Identity guidelines. A scoring system is applied the Identification documents. The I.D. Documents provided must make up a score of 100.
  4. The documents can be submitted in person at Marino Parish Office between 10 a.m. – 12 noon on weekdays.

Vetting Services for the Archdiocese of Dublin are completed by the National Vetting Bureau formerly the Garda Vetting Unit. The local parish submits Vetting Information Forms on behalf of the applicant to the Archdiocese Office who in turns forwards them to the National Vetting Bureau. The National Vetting Bureau will then email you a link to complete the Second part of the Vetting Process the on-line form, based on the email that you enter on the form.

Parish Child Safeguarding Guidelines

These guidelines are specifically for children involved in activities organized by the Marino Parish and/or Parish related pastoral organizations. In Marino Parish, we follow ‘Our Children, Our Church’, the Child Protection Policies and Procedure for the Catholic Church in Ireland. A copy is available in the sacristy. Summaries of the Parish Child Protection policy are displayed in the prominent positions on Church property.
